In the opening phase, doctors work one fixed day per week at the clinic. Working hours will be extended gradually as patient lists grow.

Frequently asked questions
Can I change my GP to Hotvet legesenter?
Yes! Anyone can change their GP via Helsenorge.no using BankID. It is free and only takes a few minutes. Please note that registration takes effect on the 1st of the following month.
When can I book an appointment after changing GP?
You can book an appointment from the date you are registered with us — that is, from the 1st of the month after you made the change. Until then, you are still a patient at your current GP.
What does a consultation cost?
A standard daytime consultation costs NOK 179 in patient co-payment. GPs who are specialists in general practice charge an additional NOK 56. Once you reach the co-payment ceiling (NOK 3 115), all further treatment is covered for the rest of the year.
What should I do if I need urgent medical help outside opening hours?
Call the emergency out-of-hours service on 116 117. For life-threatening emergencies call 113.
Can I have blood tests taken at the clinic?
Yes, samples are taken directly at Hotvet legesenter. Analysis is carried out at the hospital laboratory in Drammen.
Do you offer e-consultations?
Yes! You can start an e-consultation via Helsenorge.no once you are registered as our patient. You log in with BankID.
