How to get in touch

The fastest path to booking, prescription renewal, e-consultation and messaging your general practitioner is via Helsenorge.no. You log in with BankID and get a full overview of your medical record, referrals and test results. For help during opening hours — or if you cannot get a response through Helsenorge — call us on +47 31 02 13 00.

Urgent care and out-of-hours service

If you need urgent care during opening hours, call us directly — we always reserve same-day capacity for acute appointments. Outside opening hours, Drammen's out-of-hours service handles all immediate care on 116 117. For life-threatening symptoms, call 113.

Change your general practitioner to Hotvet legesenter

Changing your general practitioner (fastlege) in the Norwegian GP scheme normally takes three to five minutes and costs nothing. You will find our doctors in the GP list on Helsenorge and can switch with two clicks. The change takes effect from the first of the following month, and your medical record is transferred automatically. If you have questions about the scheme, our doctors' specialisations or language support, you are welcome to call — we are happy to answer before you switch.

For healthcare professionals and partners

Referrals are received via the Norwegian health network (Norsk helsenett). For other clinical enquiries, discharge summaries or collaboration with the specialist health service, please use the phone number or request our direct e-mail address. Press enquiries should be directed to the clinic manager.
