About Hotvet legesenter
Hotvet legesenter is a modern general practitioner (GP) clinic offering public healthcare services to residents in the Drammen area, including urgent care for conditions requiring prompt medical attention. We are part of the Norwegian GP scheme and work closely with the municipality and other health services to ensure good, accessible and safe healthcare for our patients.
The clinic employs several experienced doctors in a professionally strong environment where collaboration, quality and accessibility are central values. Our goal is to provide patients with comprehensive follow-up throughout their lives — from prevention and early diagnosis to treatment and management of both acute and chronic conditions.
We open in June 2026 in modern, purpose-built premises at Rosenkrantzgata 75 in Drammen, with 6 experienced doctors at launch and capacity to grow.
Co-payment and exemption card
Services at the clinic are part of Norway's public general medical system. Patients pay the standard co-payment in accordance with national rates. Once the annual co-payment ceiling is reached, further treatment is covered through the exemption card scheme.
